Amethyst Necklace

Gorgeous, hand cut amethyst in a hand crafted sterling silver setting. The stone is surrounded by a beaded wire accent. I think of this shape as “shield shaped” - I have no idea why, but now we’re stuck with it.

Amethyst is the birthstone for February. It was once thought to ward off drunkenness, although I don’t know that I would personally test that notion. :D

The chain is 18” long, and the pendant measures just under 2” long and is 1” wide at the widest point.
